Kia oraHello, I'm Harry - the person behind Chaotic Good Creations.

I have always wanted to build. Starting an apprenticeship in carpentry right after school, life threw me a curveball with an injury forcing me to leave the trade. I wandered, searching for where my yearning to create and build can be satisfied.

Like all modern fairytales, my software development story begins with Covid. Just before the pandemic hit, my wife and I were putting the finishing touches on a business we had created together. Dream Day provided online tools to couples planning their wedding, and a marketplace for vendors to advertise.

Dream Day launched at the same time as Covid-19 and unfortunately, the wedding industry took a hit for a few years. Dream Day didn't make it. But, we had built the web app using no-code tools and I'd had a glimpse at something that could finally satisfy my cravings.

I jumped straight into study, gaining a Diploma in Web Development and Design. I've always had a love for Apple products so I expanded further by completing 100 Days of SwiftUI.

Chaotic Good Creations is where I can let it all out. I pour my passion into my mahiwork and build with my heart. Developing for both web and iOS, Chaotic Good Creations makes its own sites and apps as well as working with others to catch hold of their dream and turn it into reality.

Currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau, AotearoaAuckland, New Zealand but bound by no time-zone. I have 2 young children and of the many things they've taught me, one is how to function well at any time of the day. If you want to work together, know more about me, or just kōrerochat, please get in touch!
